Stewardship is the act of faith by contributing to the welfare of our community. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap, for the measure you give will be the measure you get back. (Luke 6:38b)

Stewardship also includes the art of leaving a legacy to those who come after us.

Remember this: The act of leaving a legacy to those who come after me. Whoever sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to Good stewardship in, or the measure not reluctantly or under compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver. (Corinthians 9:2-9)
